This Saturday is shaping up to be one of the world's biggest days in sport with the AFL Grand Final and England hosting Australia at the Rugby World Cup.

The guys at Public House have offered to put on the two matches and will have plenty of meat pies and beers to get us through the long day.

AFL GRAND FINAL

After a gruelling season, Hawthorn will play West Coast in the 2015 AFL Grand Final at the MCG this Saturday.

The match will be shown at a more reasonable time later in the day, this year at Public House. In keeping with tradition, anyone who even hints at the final result will shout the bar for a round of drinks.

When: Saturday 3 October at 3 p.m.

Entrance is free. The bar will have a bucket of five botellines for 5 euros. And for the special occasion Public House have ordered a truck load of meat pies.

AUSTRALIA V ENGLAND

The Wallabies take on hosts England at the Rugby World Cup Saturday evening. Public House will show the game live several hours after end of the Grand Final.
