Australia Day Party Update

Firstly and most importantly, HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY!!

Gudonya is proud to announce that Campe Outdoors have sponsored the Australia Day Party with a large swag of OZtrail products, which they have given us for the competition. Thanks, Campe Outdoors! Thanks, OZtrail!

I would also like take the opportunity to thank Mundaka Surf Shop and Billabong for also sending a box of goodies for the competition. Every year they come through with a generous offer that has become a Gudonya tradition. On ya, Mundaka Surf Shop! On ya, Billabong

Gudonya member Peter Walker has kindly brought back from Oz a bag of goodies including Tim Tams, Twisties, t-shirts and a hat. So we will be well armed with prizes.  Thanks, Peter!

The Gudonya club is meeting for dinner at 9pm. If you would like to join us, please email back with numbers so we can reserve tables.

English language magazine Madrid Metropolitan will be doing a feature on Australia Day and our party. Journalist Morgan Fagg will be taking notes and snapping photos of all of us. Thanks, Madrid Metropolitan! Thanks, Morgan!

We are working on the fine details of the competition, but we have worked out a range of questions, activities and challenges for everyone to participate. If you take part and do well, there's a good chance you will take home a great prize.

And don't forget to practise your kookaburra laugh:

We would like to warn you not to be late. If you are, you may not get in. The party is free, it's Saturday night, the Irish Rover is a popular venue, and we will start the party promptly at 10 pm.

For all the party details visit the Australia Day Party entry on our events page.

The party is proudly sponsored by

- Mundaka Surf Shop

- Billabong

Australian-Spanish-Scottish rock band KEI have organised Australia Meet, an end-of summer party to be held this Friday at the Irish Rover.

That sounds like a good reason!
